Luis F Roa - DPT

Dr. Luis Roa received his Masters of Physical Therapy from the Florida International University in 2005. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) from the University of South Florida in 2015. Dr. Roa has contributed greatly as a lecturer. He has lectured at Keiser University. Prior to opening Roa Rehabilitation Health Services, Dr. Roa was a clinic supervisor with a high end, private practice in Pembroke Pines FL, managing and treating at 2 of the 3 clinics in the practice. Dr. Roa specializes in treatment of geriatric conditions, orthopedic injuries, both surgical and non-surgical, neurological disorders, neck and back pain, and biomechanical dysfunctions. Dr. Roa utilizes his wide array of corrective exercises as well as comprehensive manual techniques to correct movement faults and biomechanical abnormalities to return his patients to a high activity level safely and quickly. He is also proficient in the use of soft-tissue techniques such as myofascial release, k-tape, and joint mobilizations. Dr. Roa is highly commended for his ability to educate his patient and then incorporate an all-encompassing treatment that they understand and value to help them achieve their therapeutic goals. His dedication to his patient’s health and athletic ability drives him to inspire and motivate them while providing the most innovative and scientifically backed treatment strategies available.

Ricardo Neira - DPT

Ricardo was raised in Parkland, FL. He graduated with her Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 and has over 17 years of experience with emphasis in the pediatric population. In 2019, He completed a transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida. Ricardo’s background as both a competitive tennis player and now instructor enhanced his desire for studying movement and rehabilitation. Ricardo’s clinical experience in treating Pediatric neurological and orthopedic conditions has helped shape his ability to successfully treat a wide variety of patients. He has a passion for seeking out opportunities to further develop his skills and knowledge. He is compassionate and very dedicated to helping others meet their physical therapy goals and return to doing what they love.

Arletta Letelier - PTA

Arletta was born in Habana, Cuba but has lived in Florida since 2010. She graduated from Keiser University and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. At Keiser, she achieved a 4.0 GPA and graduated in 2016. Arletta has over 6 years of experience in fitness, health, and rehabilitation. Her clinical experience includes orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, and vestibular rehabilitation and she has worked with patients of all ages and abilities, from sports therapy to geriatric rehabilitation. Now, Arletta loves helping her patients return to their prior lifestyles after experiencing unanticipated injuries. She believes in a strong emphasis on patient education and prides herself in giving quality care to all of her patients. In her free time, Arletta enjoys drawing, painting, watching live music, and spending time with her dog, Ellie.

Joyce Lozano - OTR/L

Joyce Lozano, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist. She brings over 5+ years of expertise to the practice, marked by a profound dedication to promoting independence and enabling occupations. She earned both Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy in 2017 and 2019 respectively from Florida International University. Her outstanding performance in the 2020 National Licensure Exam, securing the third rank, underscored her commitment to excellence and propelled her towards becoming a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist in 2020, and is additionally licensed to practice in Florida. Her role as an OT Clinical Coordinator during the COVID-19 pandemic exemplified her adaptability and leadership which ensured the continuity of care of unprecedented challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practice and a deep understanding of neurological, cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal, and orthopedic disorders, she tailors intervention plans that empower patients to maximize their functional independence and pursue their occupation of choice. She’s personally drawn to working with the adult and elderly population where she needs fulfillment in their wisdom and life experiences. Outside of her professional pursuits, she embraces solace in nature and cherishes moments spent with loved ones. She indulges in activities like free-diving, yoga, volunteering, and beach trips, or enjoying leisurely indoor pastimes such as board games and watching TV series which are all essential for prioritizing self-care and occupational balance to sustain her passion for her profession.

Katherine Moribe - PTA

Katherine Moribe PTA, has been a practicing Physical Therapy Assistant for 15+ years, graduating from Broward College in Ft Lauderdale 2009. She is currently a specialist in Parkinson’s and Holistic rehabilitation in Florida. Her work experience includes six years in a large rehabilitation hospital as both a staff and supervisory therapist on the Spinal Cord Injury, TBI, General Rehab, and Pediatrics (including the NICU) floors. Kathy moved with her family to Pembroke Pines, working in the Home health field. This work included supervisory positions and treating pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic rehab caseloads. Kathy’s ongoing continuing education continues to be a priority in order to stay current on Evidence Based Practice. This is accomplished through attendance at the APTA’s Combined Sections conference each year as well as attending more local clinical practice courses. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys playing with her daughter, riding and caring for her horse, running, and cycling to stay fit!

Yunier Rolo - PTA

Yunier Rolo PTA, is a board-certified Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida. He earned his Associate degree in Physical Therapy from Miami Dade College in Florida International University in 2013. Rolo as all his patient’s call him has practiced in a variety of rehabilitation specialty facilities, outpatient clinics, and most recently, in the home care setting. He has served as a lead therapist in both the inpatient rehab settings as well as in the outpatient facilities. In his leadership roles, he has always enjoyed mentoring new therapists and students. Rolo has a diverse clinical background with specialties in both neurological and orthopedic impairments. Rolo has always endeavored to stay abreast to the latest in treatment advances with a primary focus on Evidenced Based clinical practice guidelines. He is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Lymphedema Therapy, and Neuro-Developmental Treatment of the neurological impaired adult patient including Parkinson’s, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Cerebrovascular Accidents/Transient Ischemic Attack also known as strokes. He also brings clinical expertise in orthopedic conditions, pain management, and osteoporosis programs. In the pain management spectrum, he brings hands-on manual skills and training in the application of Microcurrent Point Stimulation for the management of acute and chronic pain. In his free time, Rolo enjoys traveling, gourmet food tasting, playing racquet and pickleball, and jogging.

Sulma Gallego - PTA

Sulma Gallego PTA has been a physical therapy assistant in South Florida for over 5 years & graduated from Broward College in FL with an associate degree in Physical Therapy. Sulma is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida. Sulma has a vast experience in Home Health Therapy including the treatment of Geriatrics, orthopedics, arthritis, neurology specifically Parkinson’s Disease & stroke rehab & if you have a pool or access to a pool, she is very experienced in Aquatic Therapy. Ilene also specializes in Manual Point Electric Stimulation (MPES) for treatments in the reduction of pain & soft tissue adhesions. Quality of Care is Sulma’s mantra & that is why she left the outpatient & hospital practice setting many years ago in order to work ONE on ONE in the privacy & comfort of patient’s homes to help her patient’s achieve their maximum therapeutic potential. Sulma presently lives in Weston with her husband & has a son who lives in Arizona. Sulma is an avid swimmer, loves boating, dancing, swimming with dolphins & is an animal lover with 2 cats of her own. Sulma loves spending time with her long time friends & family in South Florida.

Luisa Castro - PTA

Luisa Castro PTA has been a physical therapy Assistant for the past 5+ years. She graduated from Broward College in Ft Lauderdale. She moved to the United States from Colombia in 2012 to start her career as a Physical Therapist. She is a Board-Certified Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida. Luisa started as a therapist at an Acute Rehab hospital in Sunrise area then moved to out-patient settings in Pembroke Pines, Hialeah, Weston. Luisa then started working at a home-care agency in Weston, Florida. In 2020 she moved to Pembroke Pines and started working Skilled Nursing Facility Rehab in Fort Lauderdale where she enjoyed working with different patients including those with orthopedic and neurological impairments who had a variety of diagnoses such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and stroke patients. In 2022, she began working in the home-care settings in Weston where, to this day, she enjoys working with patients at home to help them achieve independence and their highest level of function. Her current life in Pembroke Pines is peaceful as she lives with her family and enjoys yoga, biking, and cooking great Polish cuisine. Luisa also has a daughter who is in the bilingual class at a charter school.

Jorge Iglesias - PTA

Jorge Iglesias PTA, he graduated from Broward College in Ft Lauderdale in 2012. Jorge is now licensed in Florida. His strong passion for science and movement led him to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. Growing up in Coral Springs, observed his fiercely independent mother struggle to move around the house after sustaining a hip fracture post fall. Dependent on family for basic needs, she felt deeply disheartened. Witnessing her Physical Therapist help her regain mobility and independence within a few weeks filled our home with joy. That transformative experience solidified his determination to become a Physical Therapist. Throughout 11+ years in this profession, the daily expressions of gratitude and affection from his patients continue to fuel his dedication. Each day, Jorge strives to improve and bring the same happiness to his patients. Jorge has provided physical therapy services in skilled rehab facilities servicing patients with a wide variety of conditions including but not limited to neurological injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, Orthopedic injuries. post operative recovery, and chronic pain. He lives in Coral Springs Florida in 2016 and has been providing Home Based Physical Therapy helping patients achieve their functional goals.

Leisy Suarez - PTA

Leisy Suarez PTA is a highly motivated and energetic problem solver with deep expertise in the human form. Functional and optimal movement is her passion, and she has spent 2 years helping to improve the health and well-being of her clients and patients through her home health expertise. Specific areas of focus have included sports and athletics movement for all age groups, ergonomic analysis and transformation of clients’ and patients’ living spaces, working with adaptive athletes and senior citizens, and clients with Mild and Moderate Cognitive Impairment. She has treated clients in multiple populations. Leisy is a Keiser University Miami Campus Physical Therapy Assistant Graduate. She has since obtained certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in Performance and Corrective Exercise Training, Senior Fitness Specialist, Adaptive and Mobility Coach through CrossFit, (working with senior Veterans with disabilities and developing programs for their fitness, pre-operative needs, and functional mobility, Active Release Techniques, Functional Movement Certified, Certification in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute, Functional Aging Specialist through FAI, and is FMT/PMT Rocktape certified. She is currently a Titleist Performance Institute candidate for their Medical Certification track to screen and correct limitations of movement that she will apply to her senior golfer population.

Jayce Evey - PTA

Jayce Evey PTA, earned his associate in Physical Therapy from Broward College in Fort Lauderdale in 2015. Originally from Davie FL, he moved to Plantation to pursue his passion of becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant. Jayce is a Physical Therapy Assistant with Management experience specifically in an outpatient Physical Therapy setting. This includes leading and managing staff such as other Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and administrative staff. He has experience in treating orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurological conditions including, but not limited to; post operative, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, Post Stroke. He is passionate about leading his patients on a road to recovery and effectively administering therapy for patients to achieve their desired goals. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, playing sports like fishing, golf and beach volleyball, and learning about the stock market!

Aldredo Rivero - DPT

Alfredo graduated from Keiser University with his associate degree in physical therapy assistant in 2012. During that time, he gained experience working with various athletes and sports teams including: Football, soccer, basketball, track, and other high school and collegiate sports. In 2021 he was accepted by the University of Texas program designed for Physical Therapy assistant to become Doctors of Physical Therapy. This program is offered only by 2 universities in the country with a 5 year waiting list. In 2023, Alfredo graduated with honors and is currently completing an Orthopedic Fellowship and will be taking the certification exam to become board Certified. Alfredo has worked in a variety of rehab settings including inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient therapy, skilled nursing rehabilitation and assisted living facilities. Alfredo’s philosophy of care incorporates an excellent command of human anatomy, strong manual techniques coupled with an eclectic functional strengthening approach. In this clinical practice, Alfredo provides high quality care that utilizes manual therapy and therapeutic exercise along with patient education and improving biomechanics and posture in order to facilitate her patients’ return to function. During his free time Alfredo enjoys spearfishing, boating, and spending time with his family including his wife Amber, daughter Diana, and his pups Koko and Sky.
